Participants in the Parade will form up at 08:45 at Brewster Field next to the First Congregational Church on South Main Street in Wolfeboro.  Once again, we are fortunate to have the Kingswood High School Band in the Parade. 

The Parade will start promptly at 09:00!  All veterans are encouraged to march in the Parade!  The Parade route is a short one, just a block and a half down Main Street.  The Parade will turn left onto Dockside and move to the flag pole at Dockside..

Following its review a decision was made to focus on articles 1 through 7; 9, 10, 11, 17, 20, 33, 34 at our Know Before You Go Meeting.

2:30p.m. Student Carolers at Wolfeboro’s Community Christmas Tree, corner of Main Street and Railroad Ave.

3:00p.m. Christmas in Wolfeboro Parade travels from Brewster Academy North to Mill St. Santa will turn around at Mill Street returning to use his magic to light Wolfeboro’s Community Christmas Tree!

4:00 - 5:00p.m. Visting with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at Santa’s Hut

48th Annual Great Smith River Canoe and Kayak Race

Registration: 10:00a.m. to 12:45p.m.
Race starts: 1:15p.m.

RACE REGISTRATION FORM and “Official Rules”

The race begins at the Allen Albee Beach on Lake Wentworth, passes through Smith River to Crescent Lake, down the lower Smith River to Back Bay and then to Dockside.  The race is approximately 4 miles long and includes a mild white-water stretch and two short portages.  There are 10 classes intended to accommodate paddlers of all abilities.

The 48th Annual Great Smith River Canoe and Kayak Race, sponsored by the Wolfeboro Lions Club, will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, starting at 1:15 p.m.

Registration runs from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on the day of the race at the Albee Beach.  Registration forms are also available at the Wolfeboro Town Hall, the Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce, and online at https://form.jotform.com/24025515809053. The first 50 racers to register will receive t-shirts.  For additional information, call Roger Murray at (603) 569-4697.
